Mary-Anne Arsenault (Halifax, NS) won 7-4 over Colleen Jones (Halifax, NS) in the Final Arsenault advanced directly to the championship game after finishing first in the preliminary round. of the Nova Scotia Scotties, held January 20 - 26, 2020 at the Dartmouth Curling Club in Dartmouth, Canada.
 
Arsenault finished 6-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Arsenault defeated Theresa Breen (Halifax, NS) 10-7, then went on to lose 7-3 against Mary Myketyn-Driscoll (Halifax, NS). Arsenault responded with a 13-0 win over Mary Mattatall (Halifax, NS). Arsenault won 7-4 against Jill Brothers (Halifax, NS), then won 8-7 against Julie McEvoy (Halifax, NS) and 11-5 against Nova Scotia's Tanya Hilliard. Arsenault won 6-3 against Jones in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Nova Scotia Scotties Championship title, Arsenault earned 12.938 world rankings points, moving up 7 spots the World Ranking Standings into 50th place overall with 77.892 total points. Arsenault ranks 52nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 67.960 points earned so far this season.
