Hanson won 11-3 against Ryan Cain (Fredericton, NB) in their final qualifying round match.

Hanson earned 1.266 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 13 spots the World Ranking Standings into 259th place overall with 7.538 total points. Hanson ranks 248th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 7.470 points earned so far this season.
