Glenn Howard (Penetanguishene , ON) lost 8-3 to John Epping (Toronto, ON) in the Final of the Ontario Tankard, held January 28 - February 2, 2020 in Cornwall, Ontario. To advance to the championship game, Howard won 11-5 over Scott McDonald (Kingston, ON) in the semifinals of the 2020 Ontario Tankard in Cornwall, Ontario;

Howard finished 6-2 in the 9-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Howard defeated John Willsey (Waterloo, ON) 6-4, then went on to lose 11-8 against McDonald. Howard responded with a 6-4 win over Jason Camm (Ottawa, ON). Howard won 6-4 against Steve Allen (Ottawa, ON), then won 10-7 against Pat Ferris (Grimsby, ON) and 6-4 against Mark Kean (London, ON). Howard went on to lose 9-5 against Epping. Howard responded with a 12-7 win over Matthew Hall (Kitchener, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Ontario Tankard, Howard take home 16.748 world rankings points. Howard move up 3 spots after posting a net gain of 11.958 points improving upon their best 8 results so far this season, ranking 15th overall with 213.982 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Howard ranks 17th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 184.547 points earned so far this season.
