Epping finished 8-0 in the 9-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Epping defeated Steve Allen (Ottawa, ON) 8-4, then won 7-5 against Pat Ferris (Grimsby, ON) and 10-4 against John Willsey (Waterloo, ON). Epping won 7-6 against Matthew Hall (Kitchener, ON), then won 5-4 against Jason Camm (Ottawa, ON) and 9-5 against Howard. Epping won 10-8 against Scott McDonald (Kingston, ON), then won 9-2 against Mark Kean (London, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Ontario Tankard Championship title, Epping earned 22.838 world rankings points, remaining in 2nd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 18.298 after improving upon their best so far this season. Epping ranks 2nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 438.075 points earned so far this season.
