Lauren Wagner (Melbourne, AUS) finished 1-6 in the 8-team qualifying round. . Wagner lost 13-1 to Un-Chi Gim (Gyeonggido, KOR) where Wagner responded with a 14-4 win over Adriana Camarena (Mexico City, MEX). Wagner went on to lose 9-2 against Marie Turmann (Tallinn, EST). Wagner lost 13-5 to Elina Virtaala (Hyvinkaa, FIN) in their final qualifying round match.

Wagner earned 0.844 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. Wagner move up 16 spots after posting a net gain of 0.753 points improving upon their best 8 results so far this season, ranking 199th overall with 4.078 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Wagner ranks 194th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 3.986 points earned so far this season.
