Darryl Sobering (Westminster, CO) finished 2-3 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Sobering lost 10-9 to Nicholas Connolly (Seattle, WA), then responded with a 8-4 win over Brandon Corbett (Rochester, NY). Sobering went on to lose 7-2 against Chase Sinnett (Medfield, MA). Sobering responded with a 12-2 win over Stephen Imes (Upper Arlington, OH). Sobering went on to lose 8-1 against Nick Myers (Arlington, TX) in their final qualifying round match.

Sobering earned 1.463 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 24 of the event schedule, Sobering did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Sobering ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
