Chase Sinnett (Medfield, MA) finished 3-3 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Sinnett defeated Jason Smith (St. Paul, MN) 9-2, then went on to lose 6-3 against Luc Violette (Lake Stevens, WA). Sinnett responded with a 7-2 win over Darryl Sobering (Westminster, CO). Sinnett went on to lose 8-1 against Steven Birklid (Mountlake Terrace, WA). Sinnett responded with a 7-3 win over Ryan Spielman (South Beloit, IL). Sinnett went on to lose 8-3 against Violette in their final qualifying round match.

Sinnett earned 2.194 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 24 of the event schedule, Sinnett did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Sinnett ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
