In their opening game, Ballard lost 5-4 to Hayato Sato (Royal City, BC), droppimg another game, 11-6 to Erik Colwell (Vernon, BC) where Ballard responded with a 9-3 win over Colorado Marr (Kamloops, BC). Ballard went on to lose 8-7 against Johnson Tao (Richmond, BC). Ballard responded with a 9-5 win over Chris Parkinson (Nanaimo, BC). Ballard won 8-3 against Thomas Reed (Royal City, BC). Ballard went on to lose 9-8 against Brayden Carpenter (Tunnel Town, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
