8-6 to Kim Slattery (Vernon, BC), then responded with a 11-5 win over Kayte Gyles (New Westminster, BC). Gushulak won 8-6 against Lindsay Hudyma (Vancouver, BC). Gushulak went on to lose 5-4 against Slattery in their final qualifying round match.
