Diane Gushulak (New Westminster, BC) finished 2-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Gushulak lost 8-6 to Kim Slattery (Vernon, BC), then responded with a 11-5 win over Kayte Gyles (New Westminster, BC). Gushulak won 8-6 against Lindsay Hudyma (Vancouver, BC). Gushulak went on to lose 5-4 against Slattery in their final qualifying round match.

Gushulak earned 0.956 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 21 of the event schedule, Gushulak did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Gushulak ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
