Palancsa finished 6-3 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Palancsa lost 9-7 to Marharyta Dziashuk (Minsk, BLR), then responded with a 10-5 win over Elina Virtaala (Hyvinkaa, FIN). Palancsa went on to lose 8-6 against Oihane Otaegi (San Sebastien, ESP). Palancsa responded with a 10-3 win over Lithuania's Asta Vaicekonyte. Palancsa won 9-4 against Farnell, then won 5-2 against Dilsat Yildiz (Eruzurum, TUR) and 6-5 against Zappone. Palancsa won 13-10 against Marta Pluta (Gliwice, POL). Palancsa went on to lose 8-5 against Gabriela Kajanova (Bratislava, SVK) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their third place finish at the Le Gruyere AOP European B Curling Championships, Palancsa earn 11.810 world rankings points, moving up 25 spots the World Ranking Standings into 105th place overall with 32.216 total points. Palancsa ranks 116th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 14.439 points earned so far this season.
