Virtaala lost 7-6 to Lithuania's Asta Vaicekonyte in their final qualifying round match.
Virtaala earned 4.168 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 21 spots the World Ranking Standings into 165th place overall with 10.526 total points. Virtaala ranks 144th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 8.358 points earned so far this season.
