Alyafei went on to lose 10-2 against Randie Shen (Taipei City, TPE) in their final qualifying round match.

Alyafei earned 4.418 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 233 spots the World Ranking Standings into 318th place overall with 4.502 total points. Alyafei ranks 234th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 4.418 points earned so far this season.
