Becker won 15-1 against Nassar Alyafei (Doha, QAT). Becker went on to lose 8-2 against Kim. Becker responded with a 8-7 win over Randie Shen (Taipei City, TPE). Becker went on to lose 8-7 against Yuta Matsumura (Kitami, JPN). Becker responded with a 18-3 win over Tijani Cole (Lagos, NGR). Becker won 14-4 against Jason Chang (Hong Kong, HKG), then won 11-4 against Abylay Zhuzbay (Almaty, KAZ) in their final qualifying round match.
