McMakin went on to lose 8-5 against Samantha Jones (Endeavor, WI). McMakin responded with a 7-6 win over Ariel Traxler (Fairbanks, AK). McMakin won 6-4 against Dakotah Crotty (Pardeeville, WI) in their final qualifying round match.
