Heidt went on to lose 4-3 against Ryan Deis (Fox Valley, SK). Heidt responded with a 7-5 win over Saskatchewan's Michael Carss in their final qualifying round match.

Heidt earned 7.975 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Saskatchewan Tour Championship, moving up 8 spots the World Ranking Standings into 100th place overall with 45.466 total points.
