To advance to the championship game, Gedak won 7-6 over Shaun Meachem (Saskatoon, SK) in the semifinals of the 2020 Saskatchewan Tour Championship in Swift Current, Saskatchewan; and won 9-4 over Josh Heidt (Kerrobert, SK) in the quarterfinals. of the 2020 Saskatchewan Tour Championship in Swift Current, Saskatchewan;
 
Gedak finished 3-2 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Gedak defeated Carson Ackerman (Saskatoon, SK) 8-3, then went on to lose 6-2 against Bruce Korte (Saskatoon, SK). Gedak responded with a 7-2 win over Meachem. Gedak went on to lose 6-5 against Hartung. Gedak responded with a 6-2 win over Sam Wills (Regina, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
