Alonso won 7-6 against Ignacio Galdeano (Pisuerga, ESP), then won 7-6 against Llorenc Aparicio (Barcelona, ESP). Alonso went on to lose 6-3 against Vez in their final qualifying round match.

With their fourth place finish at the Spanish Mens National Championship, Alonso take home 6.113 world rankings points. For week 33 of the event schedule, Alonso did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
