Huppi/Weiss lost 11-4 to Alina Paetz/Sven Michel (Aarau, SUI) where Huppi/Weiss responded with a 8-3 win over Carole Howald/Jan Hess (Burgdorf, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.

Huppi/Weiss earned 4.793 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, remaining in 668th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 4.794 after improving upon their best so far this season.
