To advance to the championship game, Manitoba's Matt Bijil won 7-4 over Jack Hykaway (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals of the 2019 Quality Inn Winkler MJCT Junior Classic in Winkler, Manitoba, Canada; and won 6-1 over Manitoba's Josh Maisey in the quarterfinals.
 
Manitoba's Matt Bijil finished 2-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Manitoba's Matt Bijil lost 6-0 to Landon Krahn (Winkler, MB), then responded with a 8-3 win over Manitoba's Peter Albig. Manitoba's Matt Bijil won 7-6 against Jordon Johnson (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
