Bakker finished 1-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bakker lost 7-5 to Ashley Thevenot (Saskatoon, SK), then responded with a 8-3 win over Elysa Crough (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
