Dodds/Mouat finished 5-0 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Dodds/Mouat defeated Judith McCleary/Lee McCleary (Stirling, SCO) 9-2, then won 8-5 against Lauren Gray/Craig Waddell (Stirling, SCO) and 8-4 against Karoliine Kaare/Harri Lill (Tallinn, EST). Dodds/Mouat won 9-5 against Anna Fowler/Ben Fowler (Kent, ENG), then won 9-3 against Sophie Jackson/Hammy McMillan Jr. (Stirling, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Dodds/Mouat earned 11.561 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Aberdeen Mixed Doubles Championship, remaining in 668th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 11.562 after improving upon their best so far this season.
