Gina Aitken/Scott Andrews (Stirling, SCO) qualified for the 2020 International Mixed Doubles Trophy Aarau playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-4 against Russia's Daria Morozova/Daniil Goryachev. of the 2020 International Mixed Doubles Trophy Aarau in Aarau, Switzerland;

Aitken/Andrews finished 4-1 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Aitken/Andrews lost 7-6 to Michele Jaeggi/Marc Pfister (Bern, SUI), then responded with a 6-3 win over Spain's Oihane Otaegi/Mikel Unanue. Aitken/Andrews won 7-6 against Kristin Moen Skaslien/Magnus Nedregotten (Oppdal, NOR), then won 10-8 against Switzerland's Laura Engler/Marco Hefti and 6-4 against Nadja Grunder/Peter De Cruz (Geneve, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.

Aitken/Andrews earned 18.999 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the International Mixed Doubles Trophy Aarau, remaining in 668th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 16.604 after improving upon their best so far this season. Aitken/Andrews ranks 11th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 112.092 points earned so far this season.
