Hyeji Jang/Yujin Seong (Uiseong, KOR) won 7-4 over Tahli Gill/Dean Hewitt (Brisbane, AUS) in the Final of the New Zealand Winter Games Mixed Doubles, held August 27 - 30, 2019 in Naseby, New Zealand. Advancing directly to the semifinals, Jang/Seong won 9-8 over Tabitha Peterson/Joe Polo (Chaska, USA) to advance to the championship game. of the 2019 New Zealand Winter Games Mixed Doubles in Naseby, New Zealand;

Jang/Seong finished 5-0 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jang/Seong defeated Courtney Smith/Hamish Walker (Naseby, NZL) 9-1, then won 8-6 against Gill/Hewitt and 8-3 against Emilie Desjardins/Robert Desjardins (Chicoutimi, CAN). Jang/Seong won 5-4 against Jessica Smith/Ben Smith (Naseby, NZL), then won 9-5 against Eszter Juhasz/Markku Uusipaavalniemi (Hyvinkaa, FIN) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the New Zealand Winter Games Mixed Doubles Championship title, Jang/Seong earned 23.672 world rankings points, remaining in 668th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 29.200 total points. Jang/Seong ranks 5th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 29.200 points earned so far this season.
