Gill/Hewitt finished 0-2 in the 6-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Gill/Hewitt lost 11-7 to Song/Jeon, droppimg another game, 6-5 to Margarita Fomina/Alexey Stukalsky (Moscow, RUS) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the WCT Pacific Ocean Cup Championship title, Gill/Hewitt earned 28.321 world rankings points along with the $5,303CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 668th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 28.32 after improving upon their best so far this season.
