To advance to the championship game, Kim won 8-7 over Binia Feltscher (Langenthal, SUI) in the semifinals of the 2020 Glynhill Ladies International in Glasgow, Scotland; and won 5-4 over Seina Nakajima (Nagano, JPN) in the quarterfinals. of the 2020 Glynhill Ladies International in Glasgow, Scotland;
 
Kim finished 3-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kim defeated Yu Han (Beijing, CHN) 11-8, then won 6-5 against Sophie Jackson (Dumfries, SCO) and 5-3 against Fay Henderson (Stirling, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Glynhill Ladies International Championship title, Kim earned 36.117 world rankings points along with the $6,820CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 14th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 10.735 after improving upon their best so far this season. Kim ranks 12th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 216.662 points earned so far this season.
