Alexandra Agre/Derrick McLean (Chaska, MN) finished 4-1 in the 36-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Agre/McLean defeated Chelsea Carey/Braeden Moskowy (Calgary, AB) 6-4, then won 10-4 against Tahli Gill/Dean Hewitt (Brisbane, AUS) and 12-2 against Kirsten Silcox/Jason Keerak (Cochrane, AB). Agre/McLean went on to lose 11-6 against Jenny Perret/Martin Rios (Bern, SUI). Agre/McLean responded with a 8-6 win over Bobbie Sauder/Brendan Bottcher (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

The berth into the first round of the Qualico Mixed Doubles Classic playoffs earned Agre/McLean 15.278 world rankings points, remaining in 668th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 14.156 after improving upon their best so far this season. Agre/McLean ranks 44th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 35.022 points earned so far this season.
