Anderson/Dropkin finished 4-1 in the 36-team qualifying round. . Anderson/Dropkin went on to lose 8-6 against Dezaray Hawes/Tyler Tardi (Langley, BC). Anderson/Dropkin responded with a 6-4 win over Junko Nishimuro/Satoru Tsukamoto (Yamanashi, JPN). Anderson/Dropkin won 7-4 against Switzerland's Daniela Rupp/Kevin Wunderlin in their final qualifying round match.
