Andrin Schnider (St. Gallen, SUI) qualified for the 2019 Curling Masters Champery playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-2 against Jaap van Dorp (Zoetermeer, NED).  
 
Schnider finished 2-2 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Schnider defeated Marco Hoesli (Glarus, SUI) 6-4, then went on to lose 5-3 against Thomas Ulsrud (Oppdal, NOR). Schnider lost 5-3 to Jan Hess (Zug, SUI) where Schnider responded with a 7-6 win over Czech Republic's David Sik in their final qualifying round match.
 
Schnider earned 18.833 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Curling Masters Champery. Schnider move up 8 spots after posting a net gain of 14.351 points improving upon their best 4 results so far this season, ranking 56th overall with 83.841 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Schnider ranks 35th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 47.991 points earned so far this season.
