Lottenbach finished 3-1 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Lottenbach defeated Simon Gempeler (Adelboden, SUI) 6-4, then won 7-5 against Rich Ruohonen (Minneapolis, USA). Lottenbach went on to lose 7-4 against Jaap van Dorp (Zoetermeer, NED). Lottenbach responded with a 7-3 win over Jan Klossner (Langenthal, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Lottenbach earned 18.833 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Curling Masters Champery. Lottenbach move up 7 spots after posting a net gain of 13.494 points improving upon their best 4 results so far this season, ranking 62nd overall with 76.996 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
