Margarita Fomina/Alexey Stukalsky (Moscow, RUS) lost 7-6 to Jenny Perret/Martin Rios (Bern, SUI) in the Final of the International Mixed Doubles Sochi, held November 7 - 10, 2019 in Sochi, Russia. To advance to the championship game, Fomina/Stukalsky won 9-5 over Ekaterina Telnova/Artem Puzanov (Moscow, RUS) in the semifinals of the 2019 International Mixed Doubles Sochi in Sochi, Russia; and won 7-5 over Alina Fakhurtdinova/Nikolay Lysakov (Irkutsk, RUS) in the quarterfinals. of the 2019 International Mixed Doubles Sochi in Sochi, Russia;

Fomina/Stukalsky finished 4-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Fomina/Stukalsky defeated Ekaterina Tolstova/Petr Kuznetsov (Dmitrov, RUS) 6-3, then went on to lose 8-5 against Hungary's Ildiko Szekeres/Gyorgy Nagy. Fomina/Stukalsky responded with a 7-6 win over Kristina Dudko/Vladislav Velichko (Krasnoyarsk, RUS). Fomina/Stukalsky won 10-5 against Svetlana Saifutdinova/Ilgiz Saifutdinov (Moscow, RUS), then won 8-4 against Maria Ignatenko/Dmitry Mironov (Sochi, RUS) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the International Mixed Doubles Sochi, Fomina/Stukalsky take home 26.394 world rankings points along with the $2,663CDN prize, remaining in 668th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 22.335 after improving upon their best so far this season. Fomina/Stukalsky ranks 14th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 48.266 points earned so far this season.
