Yujin Song/Jae-ik Jeon (Uiseong, KOR) finished 2-3 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Song/Jeon defeated Manitoba's Ashley Groff/Kyle Doering 7-6, then went on to lose 10-6 against Kimberly Tuck/Wayne Tuck Jr. (Ilderton, ON). Song/Jeon responded with a 7-4 win over Becca Wood/Sean Franey (Denver, CO). Song/Jeon went on to lose 7-6 against Alberta's Laura Walker/Kirk Muyres. Song/Jeon lost 8-2 to Ashley Quick/Mike Armstrong (Regina, SK) in their final qualifying round match.

Song/Jeon earned 4.217 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, remaining in 668th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 4.218 after improving upon their best so far this season. Song/Jeon ranks 36th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 27.718 points earned so far this season.
