To advance to the championship game, Hastings won 6-5 over Jacqueline Harrison (Dundas, ON) in the semifinals of the 2019 Gord Carroll Curling Classic - Presented by D & R Custom Steel in Whitby, Ontario, Canada; and won 6-5 over Tori Koana (Yamanashi, JPN) in the quarterfinals.
 
Hastings finished 4-0 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hastings defeated Michigan's Stephanie Senneker 6-5, then won 6-2 against Minnesota's Kim Rhyme and 9-3 against Cathy Auld (Kingston, ON). Hastings won 7-3 against Jestyn Murphy (Mississauga, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Gord Carroll Curling Classic - Presented by D & R Custom Steel, Hastings take home 25.177 world rankings points along with the $3,000CDN prize, moving up 55 spots the World Ranking Standings into 90th place overall with 39.449 total points. Hastings ranks 65th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 25.177 points earned so far this season.
