Joshua Friesen (Winnipeg, MB) won 4-3 over Switzerland's Noe Traub in the Final of the Braehead Junior Invitational, held November 1 - 3, 2019 in Glasgow, Scotland. To advance to the championship game, Friesen won 9-1 over Scotland's Callum Kinnear in the semifinals of the 2019 Braehead Junior Invitational in Glasgow, Scotland; and won 9-4 over Norway's Eirik Oy in the quarterfinals. of the 2019 Braehead Junior Invitational in Glasgow, Scotland;
 
Friesen finished 4-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Friesen defeated Scotland's James Craik 7-5, then won 7-2 against Norway's Eirik Oy and 7-3 against Switzerland's Jannis Bannwart. Friesen won 5-4 against Scotland's James Craik in their final qualifying round match.
