To advance to the championship game, Cyr won 7-4 over James Grattan (Oromocto, NB) in the semifinals of the 2019 Atlantic Superstore Monctonian Challenge in Moncton, New Brunswick; and won 5-1 over Jean-Sebastien Roy (Saguenay, QC) in the quarterfinals. of the 2019 Atlantic Superstore Monctonian Challenge in Moncton, New Brunswick;
Cyr finished 2-3 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Cyr defeated Kendal Thompson (Halifax, NS) 8-3, then won 7-6 against Grattan. Cyr went on to lose 4-3 against Nova Scotia's Andrew Gibson. Cyr lost 8-3 to Rick Rowsell (St. John's, NL). Cyr lost 7-4 to Brent MacDougall (Halifax, NS) in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the Atlantic Superstore Monctonian Challenge, Cyr take home 13.951 world rankings points along with the $2,400CDN prize, moving up 45 spots the World Ranking Standings into 119th place overall with 31.290 total points. Cyr ranks 103rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 15.352 points earned so far this season.
