Grattan finished 4-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Grattan defeated Rick Rowsell (St. John's, NL) 4-1, then went on to lose 7-6 against Cyr. Grattan responded with a 8-2 win over Nova Scotia's Andrew Gibson. Grattan won 7-3 against Brent MacDougall (Halifax, NS), then won 6-4 against Kendal Thompson (Halifax, NS) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Grattan earned 10.780 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Atlantic Superstore Monctonian Challenge, moving up 13 spots the World Ranking Standings into 86th place overall with 50.415 total points. Grattan ranks 123rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 12.181 points earned so far this season.
