Jean-Sebastien Roy (Saguenay, QC) qualified for the 2019 Atlantic Superstore Monctonian Challenge playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 5-1 against Ed Cyr (Fredericton, NB). of the 2019 Atlantic Superstore Monctonian Challenge in Moncton, New Brunswick;

Roy finished 3-2 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Roy defeated Bryan Cochrane (Ottawa, ON) 5-2, then went on to lose 8-7 against Nova Scotia's Mike Callaghan. Roy lost 6-4 to Neil Gallant (Dartmouth, NS) where Roy responded with a 5-3 win over Scott Jones (Moncton, NB). Roy won 7-5 against Kevin Ouellette (Halifax, NS) in their final qualifying round match.

Roy earned 7.610 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Atlantic Superstore Monctonian Challenge. Roy move up 4 spots after posting a net gain of 5.266 points improving upon their best 4 results so far this season, ranking 45th overall with 102.469 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Roy ranks 65th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 27.607 points earned so far this season.
