To advance to the championship game, Desjardins/Desjardins won 8-5 over Noemie Gauthier/Larry Mullen (Kenogami, QC) in the semifinals of the 2020 GOLDLINE Chicoutimi Mixed Doubles in Chicoutimi, Quebec, Canada; and won 9-5 over Cindy Dallaire/Yannick Martel (Saguenay, QC) in the quarterfinals. of the 2020 GOLDLINE Chicoutimi Mixed Doubles in Chicoutimi, Quebec, Canada;
Desjardins/Desjardins finished 2-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Desjardins/Desjardins defeated Guylaine Gaudreault/Jerome Bouchard (Saguenay, QC) 12-5, then went on to lose 7-5 against Sophie Sanscartier/Pierre Lanoue (Quebec, QC). Desjardins/Desjardins responded with a 8-3 win over Lisa Hale/Ray Baker (Dauphin, QC) in their final qualifying round match.
