Emilie Desjardins/Robert Desjardins (Chicoutimi, QC) won 8-7 over Veronique Bouchard/Jean-Francois Charest (Saguenay, QC) in the Final of the GOLDLINE Chicoutimi Mixed Doubles, held January 31 - February 2, 2020 at the Chicoutimi Curling Club in Chicoutimi, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Desjardins/Desjardins won 8-5 over Noemie Gauthier/Larry Mullen (Kenogami, QC) in the semifinals of the 2020 GOLDLINE Chicoutimi Mixed Doubles in Chicoutimi, Quebec, Canada; and won 9-5 over Cindy Dallaire/Yannick Martel (Saguenay, QC) in the quarterfinals. of the 2020 GOLDLINE Chicoutimi Mixed Doubles in Chicoutimi, Quebec, Canada;

Desjardins/Desjardins finished 2-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Desjardins/Desjardins defeated Guylaine Gaudreault/Jerome Bouchard (Saguenay, QC) 12-5, then went on to lose 7-5 against Sophie Sanscartier/Pierre Lanoue (Quebec, QC). Desjardins/Desjardins responded with a 8-3 win over Lisa Hale/Ray Baker (Dauphin, QC) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the GOLDLINE Chicoutimi Mixed Doubles Championship title, Desjardins/Desjardins earned 14.613 world rankings points along with the $500CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 668th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 6.349 after improving upon their best so far this season.
