Ying Yang/Zhi Ling (Beijing, CHN) qualified for the 2020 Ontario Mixed Doubles Tour Championship playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 8-6 against Catherine Liscumb/Chris Liscumb (Ilderton, ON). of the 2020 Ontario Mixed Doubles Tour Championship in Wingham, Ontario, Canada;

Yang/Ling finished 3-0 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Yang/Ling defeated Grace Holyoke/John Willsey (Waterloo, ON) 5-1, then won 7-2 against Cheng Yu Sun/Wen Xin Zhang (Beijing, CHN) and 9-3 against Dorottya Palancsa/Zsolt Kiss (Budapest, HUN) in their final qualifying round match.

Yang/Ling earned 13.623 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Ontario Mixed Doubles Tour Championship, remaining in 668th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 5.33 after improving upon their best so far this season. Yang/Ling ranks 22nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 85.180 points earned so far this season.
