Kayte Gyles (New Westminster, BC) qualified for the 2019 Driving Force Decks Int'l Abbotsford Cashspiel playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 16-14 against Morgayne Eby (Vernon, BC).

Gyles finished 3-0 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Gyles defeated Sarah Wark (Abbotsford, BC) 5-4, then won 7-0 against Diane Gushulak (Vancouver , BC) and 10-5 against Dailene Pewarchuk (Victoria, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
