To advance to the championship game, Sidorova won 9-4 over Tabitha Peterson (McFarland , USA) in the semifinals of the 2019 Karuizawa International in Karuizawa, Japan; and won 9-2 over Mayu Minami (Sapporo, JPN) in the quarterfinals.
Sidorova finished 5-0 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Sidorova defeated Fujisawa 5-4, then won 9-2 against Minami and 7-3 against Misako Kawahira (Obihiro, JPN). Sidorova won 5-2 against Jamie Sinclair (Charlotte, NC), then won 8-2 against Seina Nakajima (Nagano, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Karuizawa International Championship title, Sidorova earned 43.313 world rankings points along with the $15,628CDN first prize cheque, moving up 8 spots the World Ranking Standings into 26th place overall with 184.277 total points. Sidorova ranks 27th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 114.303 points earned so far this season.
