Kim won 7-4 against Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON), then won 6-5 against Eve Muirhead (Stirling, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Meridian Canadian Open, Kim take home 67.155 world rankings points along with the $20,000CDN prize. Kim move up 6 spots after posting a net gain of 48.712 points improving upon their best 8 results so far this season, ranking 12th overall with 242.792 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
