John Epping (Toronto, ON) won 7-4 over Kevin Koe (Calgary, AB) in the Final of the Home Hardware Canada Cup of Curling, held November 27 - December 1, 2019 in Leduc, Alberta. To advance to the championship game, Epping won 12-4 over Brendan Bottcher (Edmonton, AB) in the semifinals of the 2019 Home Hardware Canada Cup of Curling in Leduc, Alberta;
 
Epping finished 4-2 in the 7-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Epping lost 8-7 to Koe, then responded with a 8-4 win over Matt Dunstone (Regina, SK). Epping won 6-4 against Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL), then won 9-4 against Brad Jacobs (Sault Ste Marie, NONT) and 7-2 against Glenn Howard (Penetanguishene, ON). Epping went on to lose 7-3 against Bottcher in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Home Hardware Canada Cup of Curling Championship title, Epping earned 87.640 world rankings points along with the $40,000CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 1st place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 50.442 after improving upon their best so far this season. Epping ranks 1st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 352.930 points earned so far this season.
