Robert Kwan (Bridgeport, CT) won 6-2 over Stephen Imes (Columbus, OH) in the Final of the Blazing Leaves, held October 24 - 27, 2019 at the Nutmeg Curling Club in Bridgeport, United States. To advance to the championship game, Kwan won 5-4 over Edward Scimia (Bridgeport, CT) in the semifinals   of the 2019 Blazing Leaves in Bridgeport, Connecticut, United States; and won 7-6 over Benj Guzman (wayland, MA) in the quarterfinals.  of the 2019 Blazing Leaves in Bridgeport, Connecticut, United States; 
 
Kwan finished 2-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kwan defeated Scott Dunnam (Philadelphia, PA) 9-3, then won 6-3 against Michael Glessner (Paoli, PA). Kwan went on to lose 9-4 against Mark Mooney (Plainfield, NJ) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Blazing Leaves Championship title, Kwan earned 9.847 world rankings points along with the $1,833CDN first prize cheque, moving up 396 spots the World Ranking Standings into 231st place overall with 9.847 total points. Kwan ranks 139th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 9.847 points earned so far this season.
