Marie Turmann (Tallinn, EST) won 7-4 over Nora Wuest (Wetzikon, SUI) in the Final of the Tallinn Ladies International Challenger, held November 1 - 3, 2019 in Tallinn, Estonia. Advancing directly to the semifinals, Turmann won 3-2 over Anna Kubeskova (Prague, CZE) to advance to the championship game. of the 2019 Tallinn Ladies International Challenger in Tallinn, Estonia;

Turmann finished 5-0 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Turmann defeated Ieva Rudzite (Riga, LAT) 8-6, then won 9-3 against Virginija Paulauskaite (Vilnius, LTU) and 7-6 against Corrie Huerlimann (Zug, SUI). Turmann won 7-5 against Amy MacDonald (Stirling, SCO), then won 6-4 against Milija Sullanmaa (Hyvinkaa, FIN) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Tallinn Ladies International Challenger Championship title, Turmann earned 17.524 world rankings points along with the $1,753CDN first prize cheque. Turmann move up 36 spots after posting a net gain of 15.518 points improving upon their best 5 results so far this season, ranking 93rd overall with 36.686 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Turmann ranks 82nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 22.646 points earned so far this season.
