Ryan Parent (Calgary, AB) won 5-1 over Evan van Amsterdam (Edmonton, AB) in the Final of the AJCT Players' Championship, held March 29 - 31, 2019 in St Albert, Alberta. To advance to the championship game, Parent won 5-4 over Nicolas Oake (St. Albert, AB) in the semifinals
 
Parent finished 3-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Parent defeated Oake 6-5, then won 8-6 against Jared Palanuik (Black Diamond, AB) and 6-1 against Desmond Young (Airdrie, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
