Daniel Berggren (Sveg, SWE) won 6-5 over Daniel Magnusson (Karlstad, SWE) in the Final Berggren advanced directly to the championship game after finishing first in the preliminary round. of the Swedish Junior Championships, held December 6 - 9, 2018 in Ostersund, Sweden.

Berggren finished 4-1 in the 6-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Berggren defeated Ludvig Koehn (Gavle, SWE) 7-5, then went on to lose 7-3 against Magnusson. Berggren responded with a 9-4 win over Johan Engqvist (Harnosand, SWE). Berggren won 5-2 against Axel Landelius (Mjolby, SWE), then won 10-2 against Noa Stenalv (Harnosand, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Swedish Junior Championships Championship title, Berggren earned 3.375 world rankings points. For week 17 of the event schedule, Berggren did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Berggren ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
