Kevin Tuma (St. Paul, MN) won 7-5 over Wesley Wendling (Wausau, WI) in the Final of the USA Curling U18 Championships, held March 14 - 17, 2019 in Chaska, Minnesota. To advance to the championship game, Tuma won 9-6 over Daniel Casper (Briarcliff Manor, NY) in the semifinals of the 2019 USA Curling U18 Championships in Chaska, Minnesota;
Tuma finished 5-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Tuma defeated Jase Wartgow (Victoria, MN) 12-1, then won 6-5 against Ian Olson (Horace, ND) and 10-4 against Ethan Hebert (Lowell, MA). Tuma won 8-2 against Connor Kauffman (Lynnwood, WA), then won 5-3 against Samuel Strouse (Midland, MI) in their final qualifying round match.
. For week 31 of the event schedule, Tuma did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Tuma ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
