In their opening game, Keefe lost 8-5 to Rob Hutton (Saint John, NB), droppimg another game, 6-5 to Jason Vaughan (Saint John, NB) where Keefe responded with a 8-3 win over Chris Ohara (Fredericton, NB). Keefe won 10-1 against Andrew Friel (Moncton, NB), then won 11-2 against Gerrit Elsinga (Florenceville, NB) in their final qualifying round match.
