Yang responded with a 10-8 win over Sophie Jackson (Stirling, UK) in their final qualifying round match.

Yang earned 5.715 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 38 spots the World Ranking Standings into 169th place overall with 11.301 total points. Yang ranks 169th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 11.301 points earned so far this season.
