Kristen Streifel (Edmonton, CAN) qualified for the 2019 Krasnoyarsk 2019 Winter Universiade playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-4 against Sophie Jackson (Stirling, UK). of the 2019 Krasnoyarsk 2019 Winter Universiade in Krasnoyarsk, Russia;

Streifel finished 6-2 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Streifel defeated Ying Yang (Harbin, CHN) 10-3, then won 6-1 against Kaede Kudo (Tokyo, JPN). Streifel went on to lose 7-5 against Isabella Wrana (Stockholm, SWE). Streifel responded with a 10-6 win over Jana Stritt (Zurich, SUI). Streifel went on to lose 12-7 against Jackson. Streifel responded with a 8-2 win over Alzbeta Baudysova (Prague, CZE). Streifel won 9-8 against Maria Komarova (Saint-Petersburg, RUS), then won 7-6 against Stefania Constantini (Trentino, ITA) in their final qualifying round match.

Streifel earned 6.858 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 30 of the event schedule, Streifel did not improve upon their best events, remaining at 43rd place on the World Ranking Standings with 104.662 total points.
